Folks, we’ve had a late change-of-venue. We’ve had to move the show to the Salem Community Center – Centerplex facility. This is a great facility, so rest assured we’ll be in a clean and comfortable space. This last minute change has necessitated a few changes to our schedule, so please visit the event page for more information.
We’ve added several new products to the PLW store. Make sure to visit, and order often and a lot! We’ve also got a few great new products on the way. Here’s a little sneak peak!
This is the Farmington station, which we’ll be making available in both O and S scales (pricing to be determined — check back often).
Also coming soon will be a Philadelphia & Reading standard-gauge boxcar in O scale. This model will come pre-painted and lettered, less trucks and couplers (pricing to be determined).
Berrett Hill Trains of Sykesville, MD, manufacturer of the Touch Toggle line of model railroad turnout controls, along with The On30 Guy and The Peterboro Railroad, are pleased to announce the acquisition of the Light Iron Turnout Company (LITco).
Founded in 2005 by Gary Kohler, Kevin Kuzman, and Jim Weinschenker, LITco manufactures a wide range of high-quality turnouts for narrow gauge modelers in a variety of scales. LITco turnouts are proudly made by hand in America, and the new LITco will continue that tradition, employing Berrett Hill’s proven large-volume distributed-manufacturing process to ensure that LITco’s products continue to be of the highest quality available.
Further information will be available from LITco’s new web site, http://www.lightironturnout.com.
Great news! We’ve got all the arrangements made for the 26th Annual Midwest Narrow Gauge Show! This year, we’re moving to The Timberlanes Complex in Salem, Ohio. Our newest kit is caboose #554, available in both O scale and S scale. The kit is available for pre-order, and we’re offering $10 off until February 11, 2017. Quantities will be limited, so reserve yours now.
